What You Need to Bring
Opening an account is quick and straightforward. Just bring the following to our main office:
1. Identification Documents
Bring 1 Primary ID
- Philippine Identification Card (PhilID / ePhilID)
- Passport
- Driver's License
- UMID / SSS / GSIS Card
- Postal ID or Voter's ID / Certification
For students: School ID with current enrollment photo and Birth Certificate.
2. Supporting Items
- Proof of Address: Latest electric or water bill (past 3 months) or Barangay Clearance.
- Photos: Two (2) recent 2x2 ID photos.
- Opening Deposit: Initial cash deposit to activate your passbook.
3 Easy Steps to Open Your Account
1. Gather Your Requirements
Simple documents
Prepare 1 valid government-issued ID, proof of address, two 2x2 photos, and your initial deposit amount.
2. Visit Rural Bank of Norala
In-person service
Drop by our main office. Our friendly Account Officers will help you fill out the Customer Information Sheet (CIS).
3. Receive Your Passbook
Same-day turnover
Make your initial deposit at the teller counter and receive your official passbook on the spot.
Protected Savings
Deposits are insured by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) up to ₱500,000 per depositor. Rural Bank of Norala is proudly supervised by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
